Preparing the Arte Evo
Wash and dry the accessories and water tank, fit the drip tray and cup grille, and fill with fresh water without passing MAX. The side main switch starts the machine. Continue with the illustrated first-use water-circuit and steam rinse before preparing coffee.
Grinder-area cleaning
The maintenance section shows which removable parts can be washed. For the grinder attachment area and coffee funnel, it calls for the supplied brush. Before wiping the exterior, switch off, unplug and let the machine cool; avoid solvents, abrasives and metal scraping tools.
EC9255 descale and rinse
Use De’Longhi descaler at the tank’s A/B markings. Leave the portafilter off and collect water from all three outlets. Select descaling and hold OK for at least three seconds. When OK turns white, rinse and refill the tank to MAX, then press OK for the rinse stage.
